LOCMAN presents a preview of the new stealth 300 metres with carbon dial and case

Dubai, October 20, 2015: LOCMAN boasts a prestigious record: in 2003 the company launched the world’s first watch with a carbon fibre case. It was a watershed moment, when hi-tech materials entered the world of watchmaking and dramatically changed production dynamics. LOCMAN has pursued this path with consistent determination, investing resources in research and new technologies. The Sculoa Italiana di Orologerie (S.I.O., Italian School of Watchmaking), the company’s in-house academy, devotes much of its facilities to the study of new materials. These endeavours have resulted in a number of achievements, of which we may well now be witnessing the most significant to date. 

LOCMAN previews its Stealth 300 Metres Carbon, with all-carbon dial and case. Stealth 300 Metri, LOCMAN’s extremely popular diving watch, becomes even more efficient and resistant to shocks and atmospheric pressure.

Stealth 300 Metres targets not only diving amateurs and pros, but also consumers attentive to style and trends, who will appreciate its urban appeal. The essential design and contrasting texture of the forged carbon case and the carbon fibre dial make the watch especially eye-catching. 

The sturdy unidirectional 60-minute bezel is made of ABS, an innovative thermoplastic material that is ultra-light but nonetheless resistant to pressure and, above all, to temperature changes. Adorned with a knurled faceted pattern that ensures a better grip during dives, the bezel was designed to ensure the smoothest and most stable possible clicking. 
The large dial is intended to guarantee optimal readability even with poor visibility. The hour and minute hands as well as the hour-markers are luminous thanks to Superluminova treatment, and the date is topped by a magnifying lens. The generously sized 46 mm case of the Stealth 300 Metres houses an S.I.O. Calibre 1 mechanical self-winding movement driving hour, minute, second, and date functions. The titanium case-back is secured by four screws. 

Stealth 300 Metres Carbon comes with a perforated hypoallergenic silicon strap or a natural leather strap and retails for AED 4,475 at Watches Corner, Dubai Mall.
