Chelsea College of Arts: One-to-one consultancies and ‘Dubai Professional Package' to be launched under the Interior Design and Decoration Short Courses

Chelsea College of Arts will be returning to Dubai from 22 October – 4 November 2015

August 31, 2015, Dubai, UAE – Chelsea College of Arts (CCA), will once again host a specialist portfolio of interior design and interior decoration short courses, and will be offering professional consultations. Matteo Bianchi, founder and director of Matteo Bianchi Studio and interior design tutor at Chelsea College of Arts, will be joining fellow tutors and Dubai-based students this October to teach industry-specific skills while also mentoring hopeful interior designers. Matteo is a regular keynote speaker at prestigious INDEX Interior Design exhibition held annually in Dubai.

In addition to the seven short courses that will be offered, CCA will launch one-to-one consultancy sessions with tutor Matteo Bianchi on ‘Starting Your Own Interior Design Business.’ By having the opportunity of speaking to an interior designer that is running a successful interior and product design studio, students will be given advice and feedback about their own ideas and aspirations in order to make sure that they are on the right path to create a prosperous business. Only four sessions will be available, so ambitious designers are encouraged to enrol quickly.

CCA has also brought back the ‘Dubai: Professional Package”, a three-course package that is perfect for students looking to enrol in multiple courses, saving 15% on standard course fees. These carefully selected courses cover the principles of interior design and the entrepreneurial aspects of how to build your own business from the ground up.

Sneha Kumar, Interior Architect and Design Director at S2 Interiors, is an alumni student from May courses and shared her experience: “I took one of CCA’s interior design courses and it was so interesting as it covered areas like marketing, delegating and how important it is to have a vision and a business plan. As designers, we tend not to focus on this skills and it was a good practical approach on how to be an entrepreneur. The courses are great for networking as well, since then I have quit my job as a designer for a consultant and I have started a company with a partner.”
