Toshiba Once Again the Leading PC Brand in KSA

21st July 2015, Dubai — Toshiba laptop computers are dominating the KSA market, being the number one choice of consumers.
Toshiba Gulf FZE secures the top spot for Notebook PC sales in Saudi Arabia with 23% market share in the 1st quarter of 2015, as per the IDC results.
Toshiba previously held the number one position in KSA for three consecutive years between 2011 and 2013, a strong No.2 position in 2014.
During 1st quarter of 2015 Toshiba initiated a series of initiatives, including an incentive program for its best performing channel partners, as well as the appointing of two new distributors in KSA, Sands Distribution and BDL Group.
These initiatives have proved to be successful and have directly resulted in a surge in sales, which in turn resulted in Toshiba reclaiming its position as KSA’s top PC brand.
Additionally, the results show a significant increase in Toshiba’s storage sales in region, with 30% Market share in Saudi Arabia for Toshiba’s External HDD, making the company the top storage device brand in the country.
