Dubai, (25th June, 2015) United Arab Emirates: Like everyone, children with special needs have difficulties and challenges. But they also have strengths and unrevealed artistic potential. Through Al Noor Training Centre, children with Special needs will once again get a platform to express their creativity and realize their goals.
The Greeting Cards Collection 2015-2016 which is up for sale is a fascinating display of hand drawn and hand painted cards by Al Noor students, Funfair Painting Competition Winners and local artists who have contributed their paintings towards the project.
This project is one of Al Noor’s initiatives and the longest-running project at the Centre, the proceeds from which not only support the Centre’s running cost but also help young people with intellectual and physical challenges realize their creative abilities. Such platforms give children the opportunity to weave their thoughts into reality. And it is indeed a unique way of encouraging them to give wings to their imagination and bring out the creativity and beauty of their artistic souls.
Ms. Isphana Al Khatib, Director Al Noor Training Centre, expressed her delight saying, “The tradition of sending greeting cards holds a special place in all our hearts and what better way than adding the magical touch of Al Noor students to this memorable moment. Through such initiatives we strive to discover the creative skills of our students and integrate them into mainstream activities. Our collaboration with local artists also adds value to the initiative and helps us draw more inspiration for our budding artists at Al Noor.”
The recently launched Greetings by Al Noor Website now gives all the option of sending customized e-cards. E cards are not only speedy and cost effective but are also eco friendly as they reduce carbon footprint.
So this festive season replace those run-of-the-mill greeting cards with the wonderfully designed cards by Al Noor special needs children.
