June 10, 2015: Bentley’s Structural Enterprise licensing program now provides even greater flexibility to accommodate fluctuations in project workloads by eliminating the minimum license purchase requirement. This change provides smaller enterprises with the same access to Bentley’s diverse and cost-effective portfolio of software under a single license that medium to large enterprise companies have long enjoyed. In addition, the Structural Enterprise software offerings now include Bentley’s MicroStran and Limcon structural analysis and design products, further expanding users’ choice of information modeling options.
Gustavo Amaris, I.T. manager at Severud Associates, said, “We were able to combine all the licenses we owned into a nice package of structural enterprise licenses; now the management of who accesses what program is no longer necessary, since we never run out of licenses. It is really nice that when a computer uses an enterprise license, the user will be able to execute any number of Bentley programs without tying up additional licenses.”
Raoul Karp, Bentley vice president, structural and BrIM products, said, “The software needs of structural engineers often vary daily and certainly on every project. Structural Enterprise is a unique innovation that allows engineers to use the most comprehensive range of structural analysis and design-specific products under a single affordable license. So whether our users need to design a single retaining wall, a foundation, slab, or an entire mega-structure, the license has their needs covered.”
