Celio launches its latest range of men's summer fashion in the UAE

Dubai, June 2, 2015: Celio, a leading French brand of ready-to-wear fashion for men, has introduced its latest summer collections in the UAE. A specialist in casual wear and sportswear, Celio’s collections are high on trend and comfort offering an urban wardrobe for the modern man. Celio’s summer collection was unveiled at a fashion event held at the sprawling Celio store in Mirdiff City Center, Dubai. For its Summer 2015 collection, Celio has revisited all the basics giving it a fresh new twist. The classic Tee is revived with a fun play on the collars: from round to V-neck to button-down or Tunisian a variety of styles for all occasions. For the ideal break from the heat, the ever-trendy linen has been used liberally throughout the collection. According to Celio, linen is an indispensable part of a stylish man’s wardrobe. Apart from being undeniably elegant, it is also cool, comfortable and practical, and can take you from day to night wherever you go whether it is a beach party, or at work.  

The Summer 2015 collection is segregated under three basic themes - Denim, Rock and Beach Boys.  For its first theme, Celio has drawn its inspiration from the casual comfortable flair of the United States. This year, indigo is the star color of the collection. Denim – the fabric of the season - is seen as a constant through this range, from the comfy T-shirts to shirts and jackets. The signature denim jacket and the suit in indigo redefine the codes for elegance and promote themselves as main contenders of the casual style. Giving a creative twist to the characteristic denim, Celio has introduced the knitted jean – a hybrid item that looks like jeans but with the comfort and the flexibility of jogging pants. Creating a whole new world in sportswear elegance, the knitted jeans allows for comfort and movement without compromising on style.  Rock, the second theme of the summer collection, is another element that takes center stage this season. Celebrating a carefree skater-spirit, the range is distinguished by its smart blacks, the light grays and cool whites. The knitted shirt, a re-invention of the classic shirt made with the piqué jersey from polo shirts, features prominently in this range. The look gets an added oomph with cool accessories such as the backpack or slip-ons.

Printed shirts are paired with blazers for a decidedly rock look, or under a jacket for a sporty look. The last trend of the season, Beach Boys takes its inspiration from the beach with washedout pastel colors seen across the range. Fresh prints make you dive into summer with comfy T-shirts and cool shorts. The Beach Boys range plays with different styles fusing the casual shorts with smart jackets bringing out the rich, yet understated, appeal of the entire range.
