Miller Harris launches a set of fragrances in Dubai to celebrate 15th anniversary

Commemorating 15 years this year, Miller Harris recently launched the vibrant ‘Le Jardin D’enfance’ collection in Dubai. As part of the launch, Miller Harris hosted an elegant afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason which had select bloggers from the country in attendance. The bloggers were invited to discover a riot of fragrance in the form of three perfumes from the collection; Coeur de jardin, cassis en feuille and Poirier d’un soir.

Marking 15 years of haute perfume, Miller Harris is transforming our harsh urban world into a riot of fragrance and color, evoking the senses with Le Jardin d’Enfance. Each scent is reminiscent of a different moment in time; the green morning dew of Cassis en Feuille, the daytime warmth of Coeur de Jardin and the honeyed dusk of Poirier d’un soir.

 Reminiscent of an eclectic garden in full bloom, Coeur de jardin’s story begins with Italian bergamot and lemon, textured pear and peach. The narrative sequence twists and turns with blooms of Turkish Rose, Jasmine Absolute and Tuberose Absolute. A cacophony of floral and fruit, Orris butter, amber, musk, moss and patchouli compete and create a beautiful experience.

The rambling vines and bountiful fruit of a lost garden are rife in Cassis en feuille which bursts forth with sparkling Italian bergamot citrus, textured pear and a prism of tart fruity red bourgeons de cassis or black currant bud. Sweet and sour, yet lush and natural, earthy green vines of galbanum and tomatoe leaf encircle and intertwine with blooms of Geranium Egypt and Rose. A discovery of hidden treasures, the lingering comfort of this souvenir is a textured bed of cedar wood Virginia and musk.

Evocative of the warm honeyed blooms that encircle a pear orchard at dusk, Poirier d’un soir is inspired by the contrasting flavors and complex aromas of a ripe pear and its delectable possibilities. A combination of fresh Italian bergamot, pear macerating in dark rhum extract, blackcurrant and tagette introduce a glimpse of warmth and a touch of caramelized sugar. A rich heart of spice, Turkish rose, peony and birch tar oil leave a smoky and earthy core signature. Shadows of top and heart dry down to a smooth base of ambrette seed, white cedar wood and cashmere wood.
