Ceramiche Refin Presents for First Time at Index Dubai
Last Update: Tuesday, May 5, 2015 : 19:04 (+4GMT)
Leading Italian designer in Grès Porcelain tiles, Ceramiche Refin will be presenting for the very first time its tile collections at Index Dubai, the most important furnishing and interior design exhibition in the Middle East.
The Italian company Ceramiche Refin makes its debut at Index Dubai from 18 to 21 May at the Dubai World Trade Center, presenting their collections to the Middle East market and establishing themselves as the go to partner for architects and businesses in realizing large-scale projects that demand a wide range of style requirements and techniques. They will present a preview of their vast range of porcelain stoneware solutions designed by both Refin and DesignTaleStudio.
Find in exhibition the Design Industry by Refin, a collection comprised of two different surfaces that gather inspiration from urban settings and contemporary architectural trends. OXYDE channels the patina finish of oxidised metals, a mix of alternating light and dark hues. RAW, instead, is reminiscent of worn plaster and cement, features that are enhanced by the large sizes and boost the graphic features to create smooth, continuous surfaces. These two diverse variations in the Design Industry collection allow project designers endless freedom and possibilities.
Prestigio is the vibrant collection that is inspired by elaborate types of Italian and European marble. By enhancing the typical tones and original vein markings of the material, Prestigio represents natural beauty with an exquisite, glossy finish thanks to the lapping process. The collection combines classic charm with modern taste.
Frame, the collection created by Studio FM Milano for the DesignTaleStudio brand by Refin, features a graphic style that uses the most advanced ceramic technologies. These new techniques create intricately detailed surfaces that channel their inspiration from materials, objects and traditions of the past, while utilizing an avant garde ceramic flooring concept. Frame blends the utmost innovation with culture and creativity.
Ceramiche Refin takes to Dubai to showcase their wonderfully crafted tile designs made in Italy and to show the Middle East market that their technical excellence and custom-made approach can compete for individual architectural projects at a global level.
The Ceramiche Refin stand is located in “The Italian Furnishing Square”, the area dedicated to Italian companies.
Ceramiche Refin was founded in 1962 and over the years become a point of reference for the ceramic trade both in Italy and abroad. In 1998 it became part of the Concorde Group. The mission of Refin is to create ceramic tiles for use in commercial areas subject to lighter loads and modern residential areas, and high-tech furnishing solutions with designs created in Italy. All this is achieved with the company's ethical values and environmental commitment in mind. Cutting-edge technology and a large production capacity: Ceramiche Refin blends beauty with technology and creative design with tradition. Without compromising on the quality of its raw materials, the company has expanded its range to offer products that meet the most varied needs in homes and more modern tastes.
In 2005 Refin set up its own design laboratory DTS (DesignTaleStudio), an innovative, very unique project which brings together craftsmanship and art, innovation and experiments, to create artisan ceramic products that are truly unique.
