Loffreda and Lutter take on their new SR3 car at the final round of the Radical Middle East Championship Cup.
Dubai, UAE, 13th April 2015: The Radical Middle East Cup concluded over the weekend at Yas Marina Circuit along with the other national racing series. Eleven teams competed the last-gasp battle for the coveted Radical Middle East Championship Cup title.
Consistent podium winners, Ludovic Loffreda and Romain Lutter, from Lucco Racing, had brought a new two-seater SR3 Supersport for the final event. The French duo aimed to level up their game in this series as they battle head-to-head with international and local Radical drivers. On the first heated round, Lucco racing team finished off clean on the third spot with a total time of 46:12.229 in 7 laps.
Ludovic Loffreda on his statement said “There were some couple of setbacks from time to time during our practice sessions. One of our cars broke down and with a limited time for this race, we’ve decided to get a new one instead just in time for the game.”
“We are happy that we’ve made it through the last leg of the series. It gives us such pride to have reach this far and once again race with the best. This is one tough race today” added Loffreda.
Romain Lutter, who won second during the 5th Radical ME Cup last month, co-driver of Loffreda said “We are quite as excited as everyone. I am happy with my performance so far. But would still be brushing up on my skills definitely “.
The Lucco Racing team landed fifth on the second race.
The next big thing for the French duo is the European Radical race, which is set this year.
