Competitions, Prizes and Exclusive Deals Await Visitors at Upcoming ADES 2015

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 09 March, 2015 – Organisers of Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper (ADES 2015), the largest consumer electronics exhibition in Abu Dhabi, have lined up an exciting array of competitions, prizes and exclusive deals to draw visitors looking to make huge savings during the upcoming shopping season in Abu Dhabi.
Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, ADES2015 will run from 18 to 21 March at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). With exclusive show offers, bundled deals, exciting competitions and launches of the latest technology products the show will deliver an unrivalled shopping experience for all its visitors. ADES 2015 will showcase the hottest gadgets, the electronics world has to offer. It is a one-stop shop for consumers to view the latest tech-innovations in the market and obtain the best deals.
The Nikon Mr and Miss Photogenic Competition is a hunt for the face of the year contest by Nikon and qualify for a chance to win Nikon cameras and vouchers, one each in the male and female category. Nikon will also develop a modeling portfolio of the winners and runners-up as Mr and Miss Photogenic 2015. Nikon Shootout Challenge will serve as a key attraction of the event inviting participants who have a taste of Fashion Photography and qualify for a daily chance to win Gift Vouchers from Nikon.
Nikon will additionally offer free photography classes for novices, amateurs and aspiring professionals across three sessions daily between 18-21 March, timings will be 3pm, 5 pm and 7 pm. To enter the competition and book a place at the classes, participants need to register online through the ADES website.
ADESRobotics Zone, another highlight of the event this year, will feature three distinct zones including the Robotics Exhibition Zones, Competition Zone for Robotics Cup, and the FREE Robotic Training Zone. The competition zone will host a Sumo Robotic Challenge inviting contestants to create Sumo Fighting Robots using robot building materials. The winner will be presented with the Robotics Cup. Also ADES 2015 will feature Paint Ball Competitions, Target Shooting and Archery activities for visitors.

panning an area of 10,000 sq mts, ADES provides exhibitors with an ideal platform to showcase products and services related to information technology, consumer electronics, mobile technology, lifestyle and leisure, as well as gaming, home and office automation appliances, sports and medical equipment, security and control systems. In 2014, the event attracted 35 exhibitors and close to 60,000 visitors while generating AED35 million in total sales value.
The show will welcome visitors from 11:00am to 11:00pm every day from 18 to 21 March. Tickets prices for every entry include AED10 per person and AED40 for VIP tickets, available at the venue and through selected outlets.
