Fashion Victims Season 2 Unveils Designers Showcasing this April!

Fashion Victims is set to return with Season 2 on Friday, April 3rd2015 promising a larger, enhanced and even more action-packed event. Unveiling the workshops, designers, judges, awards entries, celebrity guest appearances and other surprises throughout the month, Fashion Victims is guaranteed to bring together today’s best and brightest talents in the world of fashion on one platform at the Atlantis, The Palm.
Fashion Victims Season 2 Runway
Fashion Victims is proud to announce that one of the many designers to take over the runway is Joshua Fenu. Recognized as the consultant for Alexander McQueen and the accessories designer for Zuhair Murad, Joshua Fenu has dressed celebrities like Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Leona Lewis, Johnny Depp, Macy Gray, Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Timbaland, Flo Rida and Mariela Garriga, to name a few. Joshua’s collection caters to the chic twenty first century women, as well as men. Showcasing for the second time in the UAE, Joshua looks forward to bringing his charm to the Fashion Victims Season 2 runway.
Another award–winning designer to rule the Fashion victims Season 2 runway is Taibo Bacar, the first African designer to showcase his feminine and luxurious collections at the Milan Fashion Week. His timeless and chic outfits, from collections like “Fit for a Princess”, “African Garden” and “Mademoiselle Bacar”, are slowly conquering the world, whilst remaining faithful to their roots and forever valuing the timeless creations crafted in Mozambique and Africa.
Staying true to its commitment of providing a platform for up and coming Middle Eastern designers to be discovered, Fashion Victims along with ESMOD Dubai presents Canella Hostal and Amira Salim, with their lines Canella Hostal Couture and AM1RA respectively. Both, who are considered the crème de la crème of their batch and the pride of ESMOD, are showcasing their graduate collections for the first time in front a sizeable and significant audience made up of the fashion industry’s movers and shakers.
Fashion Victims will unveil two more noteworthy designer names in the next weeks.
The Middle East Fashion Awards
Entry is now open for The Middle East Fashion Awards by Fashion Victims. Only the best of the best will be recognized for the following categories: Best Emerging Designer, Best Abaya Designer, Most Innovative Designer, Best Accessories Designer, Best Fashion Blogger, Best Fashion Photographer, Best Make Up Artist, Best Hairstylist and Best Stylist. Entries and nominations can be made through www.fashionvictims.co. Deadline for entries will be Thursday, March 19th. An elite panel of judges has been put together to decide the winners for every category and the announcement will be made during the awards dinner at 9:00pm on the same day of the event.
The awards dinner also aims to give back to the community by donating a certain amount to the organizer’s chosen charity.
Exhibitions
Fashion Victims has now begun registrations for a newly dedicated exhibition ballroom area, where designers are invited to book their exhibition stalls in the ballroom reserved for retailing.
