February 22, 2015: Abu Dhabi’s private education sector requires investments in excess of AED 4 billion to provide 146,000 additional seats to serve 280,000 students by 2020. Assessing the need for high quality educational and professional training institutions in the UAE capital, International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E), the region’s leading organizer of Education Exhibitions and Education Marketing Forums, will re-launch the Abu Dhabi edition of the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX). GETEX Abu Dhabi 2015 will be hosted at the Beach Rotana Hotel from April 22 to 24, 2015.
Speaking further about the event, Anselm Godinho, Managing Director, IC&E, said: “After successfully organizing 27 editions of GETEX in Dubai that boasts of a retention rate of over 90 percent, IC&E has decided to re-launch a dedicated edition of GETEX in Abu Dhabi. GETEX Abu Dhabi will support the emirate’s positioning as a destination of choice for higher education and address the growing demand for quality academic and occupational education from emirati and expatriate high school and mature students in the UAE capital.”
“It will provide a vital platform to strengthen communication channels between education service providers and visitors, informing them about available programmes, courses and certifications and speed up the enrolment procedures for aspiring students,” concluded Godinho.
GETEX Abu Dhabi 2015 will follow GETEX Dubai and the International Universities Networking Conference (IUNC) Middle East & Africa 2015. These combined events are expected to be attended by over 40,000 local and expatriate students, parents and educators and will lay the groundwork for successful student conversions, increased market visibility, and educator networking.
