Dubai Ice Rink enhances its appeal as vibrant venue for events and must-visit leisure destination

It also offers several unmatched features for the youth market, including the new Dubai Ice Rink Skating Academy. 

In addition to the Academy training programme and skating sessions - Dubai Ice Rink has further enhanced its lifestyle appeal with cool DJ nights and foam parties, among others, to add to the fun for youngsters and young at heart. Highlighting the colourful spectrum of activities organised at Dubai Ice Rink, the newly launched Skating Academy recently put on  a spectacular performance of ‘A Winter’s Tale’. 

A colourful, full-costume performance, ‘A Winter’s Tale’ featured 80 participants including Academy students as well as local guests and was directed by Crystal Hancy, Head Coach at the Academy. Hancy, a triple gold medallist under the United States Figure Skating Association, is a professional choreographer, show creator and class instructor, whose skating technique is a mixture of American, Russian and Canadian skating.

Dubai Ice Rink Skating Academy (DIRSA) is now open for registration to all skating enthusiasts who wish to raise their skills to the next level. You can register online at www.dubaiicerink.com. 

DIRSA is a member of The International Skating Institute and offers individual membership to its students, which allows for official testing, documentation and legal participation in competitions and shows.

With a seating capacity of 350, Dubai Ice Rink is a family-oriented attraction open to the public. It serves as a multi-purpose venue that can be transformed into a concert or exhibition arena or host private functions. It is also the venue for the Emirates Hockey League.
