Dubai World Central Celebrates UAE National Day

Dubai-UAE: 26 November, 2014 –In the spirit of the union of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai World Central, the world’s first purpose-built aerotropolis, brought together DWC staff and business partners from across its eight districts to celebrate the UAE’s 43rd National Day.

Rashed Bu Qara’a, Chief Operating Officer, Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC),led the proceedings at the DWC headquarters to commemorate the UAE on the occasion. Celebrations commenced with the playing of the national anthem and the ceremonial cutting of a cake.

The event featured a host of traditional activities around a specially designed Emirati village including traditional food and market, arts and crafts, camel rides, a photo booth and kids’ corner.
