DUBAI, NOVEMBER 2, 2014 - The allure and appeal of both jewellery and tattoos are undoubtedly a vibrant and widespread presence in various cultures.  With the popularity of both seemingly different ornamentations, it only seemed right they should finally come together in the form of LULU DK’s Temporary Jewelry Tattoos, now available in the UAE at Bloomingdale’s-Dubai. 

Decorative gold and silver body jewellery in the form of stenciled on laurel necklaces, midi rings and rope bracelets that seem to float on the skin have become a beauty-meets-fashion phenomenon in recent months. “I love jewelry but have always had problems with things clanging and getting in the way on my wrist,” explains Lulu deKwiatkowski, LULU DK’s founder and creative director.  “So when my sister came home with a gold tattoo that she found overseas, I jumped on it and decided to create my own designs.”

With a specific direction to embody jewelry, deKwiatkowski applied the artistic hand for which she is known to this latest endeavor, creating a line of intricate, painterly jewelry tattoos.  Made in the USA, the metallic gold, silver, and black designs come in a wide array of styles and tastes, including classic bracelets, feminine florals, edgy geometrics, and flowing scripted words that are easy to apply.  “I love, love, love how gold and silver make your body shimmer and brighten up – and these tattoos do that beautifully,” exclaims deKwiatkowski.  Lasting about four to six days, in and out of the water, they are great for layering with your real life jewellery pieces and perfect accessory for days or evenings at the beach or by the pool, bridal parties, and more.

Made in the USA, LULU DK’s Temporary Jewelry Tattoos (AED 95 – AED 125) are now available at Bloomingdale’s-Dubai, where they will introduce the Emerald Stone collection, 2 new designs created exclusively for the international retailer for November and December 2014. The current collections can now be found in their Women’s Accessories Department on the Ground Floor, The Dubai Mall.
