“Choithrams marks a highly successful Breast Cancer Awareness campaign”
DUBAI, OCT 31, 2014: Choithrams, the Dubai-based international super market chain, ended a month-long breast cancer awareness initiative across its stores in the UAE.
The month of October is marked worldwide as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Choithrams' initiative was designed to help and educate their customers the importance of early detection and its treatment.
As part of the annual campaign to make a difference to the society, Choithrams has been playing an active role in fighting deadly diseases like cancer by spreading awareness for the last four years.
This year, they joined hands with UAE Red Crescent Society and partner brands such as Downy, Fairy, Tide, Ariel, Glad, Clorox, Olay, Walkers, Herbal Essences, Always, Castania, Gillette Venus, Bahlsen, Siblou, Vicks etc. Through this initiative, a percentage of the sales of select categories of products would be donated to the UAE division of RCS.

Indeed Choithrams commitment to conquering Cancer led it to build and operating a Cancer Hospital in India, (Madhya Pradesh) believing strongly in the power and goodness of education and the change it can bring about in the world."
All the stores were decorated with pink balloons (having the breast cancer logo) & danglers, standees used at the entrance of the stores as well as staff displayed pink ribbons on their uniform.
