Now more people can enjoy ‘nothing but the best night out’ as Societe adds to its repertoire
Dubai, October 13, 2014 - Following a successful first year at the Byblos Hotel in Dubai Marina, leading nightlife hotspot Societe is spreading its wings with the launch of a new club in the popular Capitol Hotel in Jumeirah.
The new venue, which will be known as Societe Jumeirah, is currently undergoing substantial renovations to ensure its décor and furnishings provide the same ambience and ‘nothing but the best night out’ which has become synonymous with the Societe brand. Renovation work is expected to take 6 weeks, with the new club ready to open its doors before the end of this year.
The 300 m2new venue is similar in size than its marina-based counterpart, and has an impressive mezzanine floor. The addition of Societe Jumeirah means that Societe’s current Byblos hotel location will be rebranded as Societe Dubai Marina.
Bringing the same nostalgic flavour of music with eclectic tunes from the 80s, 90s and 00s, a vibrant ambiance and impeccable service to Jumeirah, the new retro-hotspot will enable Societe to host more leading artists from around the globe.
Owner Gary Holliday enthused, “We are very excited to be launching Societe Jumeirah. The past year has been outstanding for Societe, with a number of fantastic acts and the success of our ‘Best Job in the UAE’ initiative.”
“The decision to open a Second venue allows us to share the Societe experience with more people in the Downtown, DIFC, Jumeirah parts of Dubai and Societe Jumeirah will open seven nights a week for all those people who can’t currently get enough Societe Dubai Marina” continued Holliday.
Societe Dubai Marina is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Nights include High Societe (Ladies night), Societe Latino Night, Vintage Societe and Societe Noir.
Societe Jumeirah will be open seven nights a week from 10pm to 3am.
