DuPont Sustainable Solutions at OpEx 2014

Abu Dhabi, October 12, 2014 – As part of its focus on operational excellence, DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS) is playing a leading role at the OpEx 2014 conference being held in Abu Dhabi from 14-15 October 2014 with events before, during and after the congress.

Brian Rains, Global Practice Leader, Operational Excellence, DuPont Sustainable Solutions says, “OpEx 2014 will be discussing the operational excellence issues currently affecting the oil, gas and petrochemical industry. We are participating with a series of presentations and a seminar to make industry members aware of new approaches and solutions in operational risk management, operational excellence and asset integrity. In addition, OpEx 2014 is the perfect forum for us to gather with leading executives in the industry in an interactive workshop to examine ways in which improved maintenance and reliability performance can unlock value.”

DuPont is expecting around 50 delegates to attend the seminar on 16 October led by Brian Rains and Stuart Grant, Global Solutions Architect – Asset Integrity, DuPont Sustainable Solutions, who will also be speaking at the conference. In these presentations and the workshop, DSS will be sharing its experience gained over decades in the industry, giving specific examples of how the company has been able to optimize productivity, quality, yield and safety to achieve sustainable and measurable results both within DuPont, but also with a growing number of external companies.

DSS has been increasingly focusing on operational excellence. In May 2014, the company launched a dedicated operational excellence offering aimed at helping companies to increase productivity, improve quality, their environmental footprint and human safety. The DSS operational excellence team partners with clients to develop and deploy proven operations management systems through which a culture of continuous improvement is developed, achieving benefits such as increased productivity, improved quality, increased asset uptime and improvement in human safety and environmental footprint.
