Societe Dubai Offers Chance to ‘Own Your Own Nightclub For a Day'
Last Update: Sunday, August 3, 2014 : 16:52 (+4GMT)
Corporate clients can now hire one of the city’s top nightspots – day or night – for a variety of business and social functions
Leading UAE nightclub Societe Dubai is adding another string to its bow by offering corporate clients the opportunity of owning their own nightclub for a day.
The new initiative will enable businesses to hire the 380 square metre club and its flexible space, together with its upscale vintage Baroque-style décor, for private functions, staff entertaining, celebrations or cocktail receptions.
In addition, Societe Dubai can cater for team, regional meetings and board meetings, conferences and seminars, award ceremonies, team building events, product launches and more.
Located in the Marina Byblos Hotel in Dubai Marina, it offers two distinct experiences for corporate clients. Whether the requirement is for a formal gathering or something a little more casual – the venue can accommodate up to 500 people, has more than 20 tables, with seating for up to 70 people.
As one would expect from one of the city’s top nightspots, there is state-of-the-art audio equipment throughout the venue courtesy of a 16-speaker professional sound system, plus a large area that has its own top-of-the-range lighting system.
“The decision to diversify to private corporate functions is something we have been considering for some time,” explained Club Director Gary Holliday.
Holliday continued, “Recently, we have had several businesses ask whether or not they can hire the club for meetings and other staff gatherings. The demand is clearly there and so we have now taken the decision to provide this service to the business community.”
