Dubai, UAE, July 07th, 2014: DEAL 2015 (Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure) show, Middle East’s largest exhibition within the leisure and amusement industry will be held from April 14th – 16th at the Dubai World Trade Centre next year. The dates were announced by IEC (International Expo Consults) the organiser of the show. DEAL would enable exhibitors and trade visitors to interact on a common platform and help take retail entertainment and leisure sector in the region to the next level. The event would be held at the Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 and The Arena at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
“Many exhibitors have shown a keen interest in displaying their games at the event which will be the largest edition of the show in history. The story was different 20 years ago as there were no shows in the region that catered to the needs of the theme parks and amusement industry. DEAL has welcomed many of the stalwarts of the amusement industry, with regional and global names such as Amusement Services International (ASI), Warehouse of Games, Zamperla, Moser Rides, PRO-FAB, Brunswick, EOS Rides, Polin Waterparks and Pool Systems and Rainbow Productions among several other industry leaders across the globe,” said Mr. Sharif Rahman, CEO, IEC.
DEAL 2014 saw a large assembly of exhibitors and visitors within the entertainment arena as 32 new exhibitors and 3 new countries took part in it. The DEAL 2014 show which exhibited the largest display of the state-of-the-art family entertainment products attracted exhibitors from countries as diverse as Belgium, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, UK, France, Turkey and USA, apart from new countries which included Denmark, Singapore and Qatar.
DEAL is a spectacular international show, attributing to both the buoyancy of the region’s amusement market and the fact that Dubai is a ‘fun destination’. From a coin-operated amusement and ticket redemption perspective, DEAL is now acclaimed as one of the premium and leading shows in the World. The Middle East market has been flourishing and expanding and entertainment operators are leading the way in many areas which has aided DEAL in growing all the way along.
“A new way of entertainment which includes retail also referred as ‘retailment’ is now in the limelight. It is an amalgamation of family entertainment centres (FECs), retail, cinemas and F&B which has been adopted in the GCC and across the Middle East. Malls in the region compete with each other by bring out new innovative entertainment zones constantly. It is therefore not something unexpected that the main leaders in the amusement and leisure industry all across the globe are showing keen interest in the DEAL show that is taking place in April 2015,” added Mr. Sharif.
“The Middle East region is all set to write a new chapter in the entertainment and leisure industry with the DEAL 2015 shaping up to become one of the largest platforms for the industry,” concluded Mr. Sharif.
