Sultan of Science amazes the Turkish audience in Konya

Global travelling exhibition ‘Sultan of Science’ continues to amaze audiences in the Bilim Merkezi Science Centre in Konya Turkey, with visitor numbers exceeding the venue expectations. The exhibition will be open until the 28th January 2015.
The Turkish audience gets an insight through Sultans of Science into the Islamic golden age and how this era had major influences on modern medicine, mathematics, astronomy and more. The exhibition will allow the visitors to enjoy hands on interactivity, which increases knowledge with the combination of technology and inventions of the period.
According to Ali Centinkaya, CEO of Bilim Merkezi Science Centre, “Our visitors are enjoying the exhibition and we have had enormous success in enlightening the Turkish audiences on the important scientific and cultural achievements of the Arab & Muslim scholars. Our centre is the perfect venue for this exhibition.”
Ludo Verheyen, CEO of Dubai, Bahrain and Cape Town based MTE Studios added, “We are delighted with the visitor responses to our exhibition in Turkey. We have travelled the exhibition to global science centres since 2006 and continue to be delighted with the audience responses to the subjects we cover in Sultans of Science.”
‘Sultans of Science’ has been hosted at prestigious venues including the MTN Science Centre in Cape Town, South Africa; the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey, USA; Ontario Science Center in Canada; TELUS World Of Science in Edmonton, Canada; Tech Museum in San Jose, Science Centre Singapore, National Science Museum in Thailand, Petrosains Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Norwegian Museum for Science & Technology and at the Bursa Science Centre in Turkey.
After being hosted at Bilim Merkezi Science Centre, the exhibition will continue traveling across the globe.
