Piaget's Global Ambassadress, Gongli Welcomed as President of the Shanghai International Film Festival Jury Panel

June 24, 2014–The curtain has risen at the 17thShanghai International Film Festival, where Piaget’s global ambassador,Gong Li, today became the first ever,female film star to serve as President of the Festival’s jury panel.  Known as the Academy Awards of the East, the Shanghai International Film Festival enjoysa long-established reputation as the premiere gathering for distinguished filmmakers from China and abroad.

Arriving at the Festival, Gong Limade a dramatic entrance in a cream-colored gown, perfectly accented with Piaget Haute Joaillerie.  Blossoming like a jeweled rose on the red carpet, she epitomized the ultimate in glamour, elegance and sophistication.

At this year’s 67thAnnual Cannes International Film

Festival, Gong Li once again captured the spotlight with her new role in Coming Home. Following the film’s official screening, she received a heartfelt applause from audience members that lasted more than 10 minutes.
