DEWA invites Chinese energy companies to participate in the upcoming WETEX and Green Economy Summit 2015

Beijing, China, 19 June, 2014: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) delegation led by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, continued its visit to the People's Republic of China, and held a series of meetings with leading Chinese companies operating in the energy field.
HE Al Tayer met Wang Yiren, Chairman of the China Atomic Energy Authority and Yu Ping, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The Chinese side emphasised the importance of strengthening relations with the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, stressing their commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchange of experiences.
HE Al Tayer thanked the Chinese counterpart for the warm welcome and stressed DEWA’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Chinese companies to create more opportunities and open new horizons for mutual cooperation.
Al Tayer’s invitation for Chinese companies operating in the field of energy to participate in the upcoming Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2015) was widely acclaimed.
Al Tayer and DEWA’s delegation concluded their visit to China by meeting senior executives from Chinese companies in energy, water and the environment where they discussed cooperation and exchanging experience and exchanged insights and best practices.
The Chinese companies welcomed Al Tayer’s invitation to participate in the upcoming WETEX 2015 which will be held in conjunction with the World Green Economy Summit 2015 in Dubai
