Emirates Post Group celebrates Haq Al Lailah with special needs kids

Dubai, June 16, 2014: Emirates Post Group celebrated Haq Al Lailah with children from Dubai Centre for Rehabilitation of the Handicapped, attended by Ayesha Abdullah Al Darby, Director of the Centre and officials from Emirates Post Group, led by Mr Sultan Al Midfa, CEO of Postal Operations Affairs, Ms. Fawzia Al Watani, Acting CEO of Strategy Department, Ms. Ruqaiya Al Mansouri, Director of Postal Services Department and volunteers from the Group.
The celebration was organized as part of Emirates Post Group’s commitment to the community by engaging in social activities tailored for the less fortunate people, in line with the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, under the slogan "My Community ... A place for All", which aims to transform Dubai into a fully special needs friendly city by the year 2020.
The EPG team took a familiarization tour of the Center and viewed its activities and facilities. The officials and volunteers interacted with the children with special needs and distributed gifts and arranged entertainment activities for them.
Sultan Al Midfa thanked the Centre for the opportunity to interact with the children and share the festive spirit with them, and expressed the Group’s commitment to consistent support to all people with special needs.
Mr. Fahad Al Hosani, Acting CEO of Emirates Post Group, said Emirates Post Group remained committed to establish an ongoing interaction with Dubai Center for Rehabilitation of the Handicapped, as this forms an integral part of the group’s initiatives of corporate social responsibility as part of the Dubai 2020 Vision.
