Dubai, 1 June 2014: Al Nabooda Automobiles, the sole distributor of Volkswagen in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has officially opened its new 1,746 square meters showroom in Deira, Dubai today.
The brand new facility is the third Volkswagen location in Dubai, joining the Sheikh Zayed Road showroom and the service centre in Rashidiya, and is the latest project delivered by Al Nabooda Automobiles as part of the ongoing AED900 million investment programme to enhance operations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Located on Al Ittihad Road, the new showroom will be particularly convenient to customers in Deira as well as those living near Dubai creek, Karama, Qusais and the Dubai-Sharjah border.
Thierry Seys, General Manager, Al Nabooda Automobiles, Volkswagen said: “The launch of Dubai’s second Volkswagen showroom marks another proud moment for Al Nabooda Automobiles, as the company forges ahead with its major expansion plans.
“The new facilities we create to showcase the Volkswagen brand here provides powerful evidence of our commitment to our business partners, customers, and the local communities in which we operate. We have been breaking records and setting new standards for many years and we expect a strong start to trading in our new Deira location when we open the showroom doors.”
The new facility will display 12 new cars and six pre-owned cars, including popular models such as the Touareg, Golf, Golf GTI, Tiguan and Passat.
In February, Al Nabooda Automobiles opened a new Volkswagen showroom in Fujairah, while the new Sharjah facility was officially inaugurated in April.
