Rice Creamery plans aggressive expansion across Gulf, Levant and United Kingdom

Rice Creamery, the UAE’s latest home-grown concept dedicated to the quintessential dessert from the region – rice pudding, aims to spread its footprint across the globe with an aggressive expansion plan across the Gulf, Levant and the United Kingdom.

A concept developed by Glee Hospitality, Rice Creamery has carved a niche for itself since opening its outlet at the Citywalk Development, Al Wasl Road in Dubai during October last year.

As part of its expansion, Rice Creamery is eyeing to become a global brand, with franchise agreements in new markets. Glee Hospitality has already signed the franchise deals in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and is in advanced negotiations with prospective franchise partners in Jordan, Lebanon and the UK.

Glee Hospitality also announced plans to open three Rice Creamery stores during 2014 - one each in Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Kuwait City, with an additional 15 stores set to open in the coming two years.

Locally, the company has fast evolved and currently undertakes outdoor catering packages as well as orders in the form of a kart, wedding and birthday parties. A hearty homemade treat that has been served for generations, on every special occasion-birthdays, weddings and dinners, Rice Creamery uses the same basic rice and milk formula but then adds a whole range of flavors to it!

With over 25 options, the menu offers diverse flavours and toppings, including orange blossom, peanut butter and kunafa as well as sweeter options such as white chocolate, red velvet and vanilla amongst many others. Decadent toppings include crushed Oreo cookies, buttered cornflakes, roasted almonds and toffee syrup.

Rice Creamery prepares their items daily with the finest and the most natural ingredients, and offers indoor and outdoor seating in addition to take away and delivery; besides the option of ordering your favourite menu through an online portal.
