AXA Oman lends a helping hand to underprivileged

Extends donation to Al Rahma Charity Team in Seeb
In a step that reinforces its commitment to the community as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, AXA Oman, part of AXA Gulf – one of the largest non-life international insurers in the Middle East – has announced a donation to the Seeb-based charity organization Al Rahma Charity in its efforts to help the needy and underprivileged.
AXA Oman Country Manager Jonathan Jane and Naama Al Maadi, Business Support Executive, in AXA Oman, visited the Al Rahma Charity premises in Seeb and handed over a cheque of RO 1000 to Mrs. Rahima Al Musafer, Team Leader at Al Rahma Charity and a member of the Commission for Social Development of Wilayat Al Seeb at the charity establishment.
The contribution was part of the efforts undertaken by AXA Oman to help social and community organizations in the Sultanate in their charitable efforts.
Talking about the donation, Jonathan said: “AXA Oman is proud to be playing its part in this noble initiative and our donation is part of our commitment to make a positive difference to the community. As a company, we always explore opportunities to extend our CSR agenda towards enabling a positive change in our environment and the society at large. Al Rahma Charity is doing a commendable work in helping various sections of the society through a wide array of programs and we are happy to be working with them in achieving the set objectives.”
Al RahmaCharity helps families, takes care of orphans and low-income sections of the society by providing financial and in-kind assistance such us paying their water &electricity bills, providing air conditioners maintenance for poor families, student sponsorship, providing devices for disabled people Devices and other charity initiatives. Over 1,500orphansare currently benefiting from the programs undertaken by Al Rahma.
