Last Update: Thursday, May 1, 2014 : 15:55 (+4GMT)
With the Middle East market for beauty and well being exhibiting a continued positive sentiment and interest in Beautyworld Middle East 2014 from international and regional exhibitors and trade buyers remaining high, organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt is extremely optimistic about the coming edition’s prospects.
According to preliminary indications, the 2014 edition of Beautyworld Middle East, the leading international trade and networking event for beauty products, hair, fragrances and wellbeing serving the region, is set for a record run later this month when it opens doors at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Going by the robust response from exhibitors from around the world – both repeat and first timers – Beautyworld Middle East 2014 will be at least 24% larger in terms of exhibition space taken up, as compared to the 2013 edition.
This growth is evident across all sectors covered, underscoring the high importance given to beauty and beauty products in a traditionally high-spending region. Cosmetics and Skincare has exhibited the highest increase thus far, being 22% larger than the previous year. Fragrances is 20% larger than previous, while Machinery, Packaging and Raw Materials is 15% and Hair, Nails and Accessories accounts for a 12% increase and Professional Equipment and Spa is 9% bigger than at the 2013 edition.
“The continued growth across all sectors indicates the robust health of the business of beauty in the wider region,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “Beautyworld Middle East’s growing regional footprint and impact enables exhibitors from around the world to effectively access and target markets that would have been hard to reach on their own.”
Beautyworld Middle East 2014 is set to bring together an unmatched range of international and regional exhibitors, representing a majority of the leading brands in contact with one of the world’s most exciting marketplaces.
Beautyworld Middle East 2014 will feature exhibitors from as far apart as Lithuania, Peru and Ukraine, for the very first time. The exhibition will also feature the debut of country pavilions from Singapore, Ireland, South Africa and Malaysia and a maiden pavilion from the UAE.
Beautyworld Middle East 2013 had set new records in terms of both exhibitor participation as well as trade visitor turnout. With 1096 participating exhibitors from as many as 52 different countries, the exhibition drew in over 25,000 trade visitors and buyers. This compared favourably to the 2012 edition, which featured 827 exhibitors and over 22,400 visitors.
In addition to the main exhibition which features the following focus groups: Hair, Nails and Accessories, Cosmetics and Skincare, Fragrance, Machinery, Packaging and Raw Materials and Professional Equipment and Spa, Beautyworld Middle East 2014 will also showcase a busy programme of additional events which are very popular with visitors and delegates.
Other Additional events at Beautyworld Middle East 2014 include: The Beautyworld ME Boutique; Walk of Beauty by Madi International; Nail It! by OPI and Nazih Group; Hair Education by Ghd; Fragrance Station; Spa and Salon Summit.
