UAE Team wins Spartans at ‘Kia Champ into the Arena' tournament

Dubai, UAE, April 19, 2014: The UAE Team show off their champions’ medals following their 4-3 victory over Spartans in the final of the ‘Kia Champ into the Arena’ five-a-side football tournament. The competition arranged by Al Majid Motors Co., the sole distributor of KIA in the UAE- took place at Dubai’s Al Shabab Club and was held in conjunction with Dubai Sports Council. The winning team members will now travel to Brazil in the summer to play in the Kia world tournament, and receive complimentary tickets for the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals. 

“The Kia Champ into the Arena tournament was an opportunity for passionate amateur players to show their skills and win the chance to play in the global version of the competition, as well as attend the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals game. Also attending the medal awards ceremony that took place after the tournament final was Abdullah Shahdad (Dubai Sports Council), Sj Youn (Kia Motor Company) and Sami Ahmad (Kia UAE).
