Kut Kut wins the six-a-side TEKA UAE PARTNERS Football Cup 2014

DUBAI, April 15, 2014: TEKA Küchentechnik, the German manufacturer of full-range domestic built-in kitchen appliances, hosted the TEKA UAE Partners Football Cup 2014. This six-a-side football competition is one of the UAE’s premier corporate tournaments. Kut Kut team won the tournament defeating DAMAC 3-0 in the finals played in Dubai on April 11, 2014. 

The Football Cup 2014 comprised of eight groups of Teka’s clients and partners, with Teka’s own team, summing up to a total of 32 teams and over 250 players. The teams which made it through to the final round of the Cup, after two months competition, were Al Fursan, Al Shaya, Dubai Ceramic Center, Damac, Delta, Dheeraj & East Coast, Kitchens & More and Kut Kut.

After a few tightly fought matches, team Kut Kut and DAMAC, who qualified for the finals and Al Fursan and Kitchen & More played for the third spot. Kut Kut continued their unbeaten run in the finals when they pulled off a 3 - 0 win over DAMAC. Kitchen & More made amends for not qualifying for the final by coming in third, winning 5 - 0 against Al Fursan. 

Arturo Manso, Managing Director of Teka UAE and Teka Middle East, and Hector Blanch, Teka UAE Sales Director, presented the Cup to Kut Kut team and AED 30,000 cash prize, the runners up trophy to DAMAC team and AED 15,000 and third position to Kitchens & More and AED 7,000. The highest scoring player, Ibrahim Shaaban from DAMAC, received the golden boot of the tournament for scoring 14 goals.

TEKA will host a Prize Giving event for more than 800 guests to appreciate the participation of its clients and partners in the tournament and make effective the cash prizes for the finalists.
