Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government Organizes Field Visit to UK for Participants of DEWA Frontiers Leadership Development Program

Dubai-UAE: 12 April, 2014 - Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), a premier institution for research and education in public policy in the Arab world, organized a visit to London for 26 senior managers from different departments of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to study best benchmarking practices as part of the two-year Frontiers Leadership Development customized program that concludes in May 2014.
The trip offered participants the opportunity to identify and gain insights into best practices at various government departments in the UK.
MBRSG’s Frontiers program includes monthly management modules on coaching and development, people management, advanced strategic thinking, advanced leadership development, finance for non-financial managers and macroeconomic fundamentals, practical advanced negotiation, globalization, public policy, dynamic governance, and advanced risk management. The modules are presented by senior faculty at MBRSG and empower participants with hands-on work experience in their chosen fields.
Dr Ali Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President, Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, said: “The current edition of the MBRSG’s customized Frontiers program seeks to enhance the managerial skills of DEWA’s senior executives while empowering them to deliver high quality services that conform to the UAE leadership’s vision and strategic goals.
