Dubai, April 7, 2014: Emirates Post Group’s 8 post offices were awarded a four-star rating under the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The project aims to raise the efficiency levels of government services, and bring them on par with highest international standards through a rating system that awards 2 to 7 stars for overall satisfaction levels.
The post offices that have won the four-star rating are Abu Dhabi Central Post Office, Al Falah Post Office in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Central Post Office, Deira Central Post Office, Al Qouz 4 Post Office in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah Central Post Office, Sharjah Central Post Office and Ajman Central Post Office.
Commenting on the rating, Mr. Fahad Al Hosani, Acting CEO of Emirates Post Group, said the honour bestowed on the eight post offices would motivate them to strive harder towards higher standards as well as challenge other post offices to better their standards, as the Group pursues its developmental goals and fine-tunes its customer service.
Mr. Al Hosani added that the Group’s strategy is to follow the guidance of the wise leadership of the UAE to make government service channels centers of excellence, innovation and courtesy, offering the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
The directors of post offices that won the four-star rating expressed their joy over the prestigious ranking and commended the hand work of all employees that helped earn this distinction among federal departments.
