MEBAA returns to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host another edition of MEBAC

After a successful MEBAC in Jeddah, MEBAA is hosting another MEBAA Conference (MEBAC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh, under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh.

MEBAC Riyadh is set to take place on 10 April 2014 at The Ritz-Carlton hotel. MEBAA has once again gathered some of the most prominent leaders of the region’s business aviation sector to discuss the issues and solutions surrounding the Kingdom’s business aviation market. 

As was highlighted at last year’s highly successful MEBAC in Jeddah, the Kingdom is one of the largest markets for business aviation, set to witness at least 12% increase in growth by 2015, meanwhile anticipating further advancement within the sector due to the government’s huge development projects currently underway, as well as those earmarked for the future.

The conference will begin in the form of keynote speeches, delivered in the morning by Capt. Mohammad Ali Jamjoom, Vice President Safety & Economic Regulation of GACA, Mr Sulaiman Al Hamdan, CEO of NAS and Mr Robert Wilson, President of Business and General Aviation at Honeywell who will be revealing exclusive research on the Saudi Arabian market. Mr Ali Al Naqbi, founding Chairman of MEBAA will also be delivering a keynote speech updating the delegates on MEBAA and their activities during 2014 and looking ahead to 2015.

Moving through the day, the conference will host panel discussions where CEOs and Directors of some of the leading companies in the industry and regulatory authorities will debate on risk management, illegal chartering (grey market) FBOs and ground handling as well as a regulatory framework. Such companies and authorities include General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA), General Civil Aviation Authority of UAE (GCAA), International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), NasJet, Jetex and Nexus to name a few.
