House of Curry Launches its Flagship Branch on The Beach at JBR

An Authentic Indian Dining Experience on the Vibrant Shores of Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates; March 24, 2014 – Having started with a punch of spices at the Boulevard Downtown last month, House of Curry now opens its Flagship branch at the new shopping area; The Beach at JBR, specializing in flavourful fresh seafood.

Located on the coast of Dubai, House of Curry feels as if entering a rustic mansion of the Mughal Empire depicted in its interiors. The art work around the restaurant is influenced by the ancient Indian art and culture, giving a vintage yet modern vibe to it. Hosting a seating capacity of 220 including a spacious terrace overlooking the sandy white beach and clear blue waters, House of Curry promises to leave an enchanting memoir of dining on the Dubai shores. 

The menu includes seafood delicacies from every flavourful corner of India featuring a live cooking station which meets the quote ‘You Eat With Your Eyes’. Some of the signature dishes served are; Tandoori Prawns, Crab Masala Curry and Murgh Achaari Tikka, while also offering daily fresh fish such as; Red Snapper, Jack Fish and King Fish prepared in sinfully delectable curries of choice. “We pride ourselves in serving the freshest of seafood, which is handpicked from the days catch, directly from the sea to your table”, says the Head Chef Divesh Mistry.

House of Curry believes in doing their part in maintaining the equilibrium of the marine life, therefore the menu excludes consumption of the local fish ‘hammour’, which is categorized as an endangered species.

“Special attention is given to every dish that rolls out of the kitchen and we guarantee that no two dishes taste alike. Even the spice scale of every individual is catered according to their liking without losing the flavour of the dish, which is not common among other Indian restaurants in the region’, says Head Chef Divesh.
