Second edition of ‘Desert Stanzas' at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature

The second edition of ‘Desert Stanza’ was a grand success last evening as world-class poets performed their poetry along with atmospheric music, and unprecedented Emirati hospitality, under the arching desert sky. The Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), and the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature (LitFest) 2014, once again teamed up to highlight the beauty of the written word with the second edition of ‘Desert Stanzas.’
The ‘Desert Stanza” featured performances from some of UAE’s and the world’s foremost poets, Khalid Al Budoor, Frank Klötgen, Andrew Motion, Khulood Al Mu’alla, and Lemn Sissay.
