Global Village's Global Barbeque Fiesta to Create a Great Carnival Atmosphere

Bollywood Singer Nikhil D’Souza Performing at Global Village to Celebrate the Global Barbeque Fiesta on 7th March

Dubai, 6 March, 2014: Global Village, Dubai’s leading family entertainment and cultural destination, will be having its Global Barbeque Fiesta at 7pm on Friday, 7th March, next to the World Culture Stage. Visitors will also be able to experience the two great acts perform fantastic music. While sampling the tasty barbequed meats from around the World crowds will be entertained by leading Bollywood singer, Nikhil D’Souza, will be singing a number of his Bollywood and English hit songs during his performance at Global Village. Visitors will also be able to experience the great music of ROOH, led by locally based musician, Anupam Nair. The concert will be free for all visitors who have purchased an entry ticket to Global Village.

The Global Barbeque Fiesta will allow visitors to sample the barbequed foods of countries like Egypt, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand and more.

The Global Barbeque Fiesta is part of Global Village’s ‘Flavours of the World’ celebrations, and will continue until the 15th March as part of the inaugural Dubai Food Festival. The festival was launched on 21st February and is taking place across Dubai until 15th March 2014. It is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and is aimed at positioning Dubai as the gastronomy hub of the region.
