The much anticipated London jewellery brand Babette Wasserman has finally landed in the UAE, bringing a rich collection of modern, unique and iconic necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and cufflinks to the UAE’s savvy and fashion forward customers.
“This is a pivotal moment for the brand. By launching here in the UAE, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to entirely new customers,” said London based designer Babette Wasserman, the creative force behind the eponymous global jewellery brand, as she presents her collection and the brand’s first pop up shop at the Emirates Towers, Dubai.
Celebrated for her innovative design and intricate interplay between multitudes of stones, materials, colours and forms, and couture-like craftsmanship, Babette Wasserman has a rare talent for capturing the style of London and the pulse of fashion, in a way that makes her jewellery collection contemporary and highly prized.
In fact, her jewellery has adorned the hands, wrists, necks and ears of the rich and famous, with celebrities such as Elle MacPherson, Sheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh (Girls Aloud pop group), Madonna, Elton John and David Furnish, Rufus Wainwright, Antonio Banderas, David Beckham and Jonathan Ross sporting some of her captivating jewellery pieces and cufflinks.
All of Babette's collections express a sense of luxury, elegance and freshness, as well as a desire to surprise and delight, such as the Glitter Chameleon rings, encrusted with hundreds of hand-set Swarovski crystals – a truly breath-taking piece; the double-sided necklace pendants; or the swivelling cufflinks.
From its launch in 1997, the brand has reached a distribution network of over 350 retail outlets worldwide in some of the most luxurious jewellery shops, boutiques and department stores from London, Tokyo and New York to Milan, Paris and Sydney, and now Dubai.
