FELDA to be part of Malaysian Pavilion at Gulfood 2014

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Malaysia's Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA), the world's most successful land development and resettlement agency, has confirmed its participation in Gulfood 2014, the world's largest annual food and hospitality show.
Taking place from 23 – 27 February 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Gulfood 2014 presents the perfect world class platform for FELDA to promote and showcase the best food product from its fast improving food processing enterprises. With unwavering dedication, FELDA had been successful in transforming its entrepreneur community from the humble beginning of selling only for the local market, to now with the capability to cater to the larger international market.
“FELDA Best” was developed as the one brand to internationally market products made the FELDA settlers. The first range of product to be marketed internationally is a selection of Malaysian Traditional Frozen Food Product. The list of deliciously sweet and savoury food products available for export that will be promoted at Gulfood this year are Aloo Curry Puff, Sweet Potato Cake, Tapioca Cake, Doughnuts, Sambal Fried Bun, Red Bean Fried Bun and Aloo Fried Bun.
“Gulfood will be important for FELDA to identify and establish networking with potential trading partners, distributors and retailers both in the gulf region and globally. Malaysian food producers, retailers, manufacturers and service providers should expect a productive week of business trading and relationship building with Gulfood visitors,” said Tan Sri Haji Mohd Isa Dato' Haji Abdul Samad, the Chairman of FELDA Group.
For visitors to the Gulfood 2014, FELDA's stand located at Shk Rashid Hall, stand R-180 is open to business and trade visitors from 11am-7pm from February 23-26 and 11am-5pm on February 27.
