Step back in Time with Historyland Studios at Global Village

Historyland Studios at the European Pavilion invites visitors to dress up as Victorians, Tudors, Cowboys, and Gangsters.

Dubai, 25 December, 2013: Global Village, Dubai's leading family entertainment and cultural destination, is giving visitors the exclusive chance to go back in time with the impeccable art of Historyland Studios, who have come all the way from London, United Kingdom, to give visitors an experience they will remember forever.

Visitors to the Germany, UK, and France pavilion in Global Village will step into Historyland Studios and be transported back to a simpler time. Transform into a gangster in the 1920s America, or a Cowboy in the Wild Wild West or go back even further in time by paying a visit to the British Tudors and Victorians.

Quickly changing into the clothes of the time period – with women having make-up applied by a professional make-up artist – visitors are then taken onto the set of the time period, after picking up props to really sell the scene, where a professional photographer will snap some great pictures.

Once all the photos are taken, visitors can then choose which ones they like the most and either have it printed off or saved onto a USB to take home. Historyland Studios also allows visitors the choice of having their photos made into a high quality photo album.

Patricia Mohamad Hajali, co-owner of Historyland Studios, said “At Historyland Studios we believe that everybody has something special inside that is unveiled when they dress up in unusual costumes.

That's why we make sure that all of our visitors are properly prepared, to get them excited for their photo shoot, we put a lot of time and effort into making each person look like they came from the era that they are recreating. The opening of a Dubai based branch at Global Village is exciting, especially as we realized that people over here were looking for an immersive experience, and that is what we really wanted to provide.”

Historyland Studios also allows group pictures, so come down with the whole family and friends for a great time re-enacting the past.
