Dubai World Hospitality Championship Joins Hands with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority to Spotlight Emirati Culture on Global Platform

Dubai-UAE: 31 October, 2013 – In the run up to the upcoming Dubai World Hospitality Championship, the organising committee has joined hands with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority as part of a shared commitment to spotlight Emirati heritage on the global platform.
The collaboration was discussed at the offices of Za'abeel Palace Hospitality where the championship committee led by Vice-President Ahmed Sharif, met with Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General and Chief Project Officer of Dubai Cultures and Arts Authority.
During the meeting, an update on the activities headlining the three-day event that is set to unfold on 16 November at the Dubai World Trade Centre was also outlined.
Ahmed Sharif said: “Partnering with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority will provide a huge boost to the momentum of the championship. More importantly, it will significantly contribute to encouraging Emirati participants to display their products and showcase their skills at the event that is set to receive global spotlight.”
On his part, Saeed Al Nabouda said: “We are honored to collaborate with a unique event such as the Dubai World Hospitality Championship and gain a crucial opportunity to highlight the rich nuances of Emirati culture to an international audience. Our vision has always been to bring our heritage to the global platform and playing a role at the championship and the heritage village will help us achieve this goal.”
