Abu Dhabi, UAE: 20th October 2013 — Dubai Aluminium (“DUBAL”), which owns and operates the world's largest single-site aluminium smelter using pre-bake anode technology, has engaged Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) and its Global Solutions team to provide a commercial pot-control system for its proprietary DX+ Technology, currently being installed in the Phase II expansion project at Emirates Aluminium (“EMAL”) in Abu Dhabi.
EMAL has a fundamental commitment to the environment. The company is determined to minimise the environmental impact of its production processes and to do all it can to preserve and protect the ecology of the areas in which it operates and its surroundings.
Rockwell Automation, the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation was selected as the main instrument and automation supplier for the EMAL Phase II 444-cell Potline extension project and is proud to have supported the EMAL team in achieving the latter's commitments.
