Come join the teeth chattering Spookfest at Fun City!

UAE – Dubai, 2013- To mark the end of summer and onset of the cold winter, a festival is celebrated annually called Halloween! Originating from Ireland, the popularity for this festival has grown far and wide. Also known as the Witches Night, Halloween is celebrated in various ways with exciting community led activities such as trick-or-treating, costume parties, haunted house tours and pumpkin carvings known as Jack-o'-lanterns. Other ‘hair raising' activities may include reading scary stories and watching frightening movies. 

Fun City also celebrates Halloween with its little visitors through its signature Spookfest event.  Spookfest is a longstanding event at Fun City with increasing popularity among children in its fourth years of existence.

The event is celebrated in October at all Fun City outlets. The Spooky Party starts at 3.00pm and the fun goes on for about 3 hours. Fun City will be organizing a host of Halloween themed activities at the party such as Halloween games, Pumpkin Carving competition, treasure hunt, and much more to celebrate the festival.  The highlight of the evening is the Spooky Fancy Dress Competition where kids come dressed in Spooktacular costumes to win exciting prizes. In 2012, a whopping 700 kids participated in the Spookfest party thereby enjoying a Spooky evening at various Fun City centres.

Fun City 2013 Spookfest will be held on 31st October at all Fun City outlets. Registration is open to children from 1-12 years at a registration fee of AED 50. The registration fee includes all the Spooky games and activities and a kids meal for the child. Registration is open till 12 Noon on 31st Oct.
