New Courses, New Locations, New Instructors

Something exciting is happening at Kids' Theatre Works! this Autumn 2013 with new drama courses, convenient new locations and a line-up of brand new highly talented instructors on board, stepping into the spotlight has never been easier or so much fun.

Starting this AW13 'Perform' is the brand new workshop-style drama course for kids aged from 7 to 12 years old. Learning about all aspects of acting and drama in a fun and creative environment, children come together to devise their own studio performance around the theme of 'Friendship'.  Their performance will be seen in the Kilachand Studio Theatre at DUCTAC in March 2014!

Also new this year, Kids' Theatre Works! will be offering their students the chance to sit for the Internationally-recognised Drama qualifications from Trinity Guild Hall, London.

The ever popular 'Dramatics' courses cater to all abilities and have creativity and kids' ingenuity at their core - it is here that passion and enthusiasm for theatre begins which can then be explored further in their "Scene Works' Acting Program as acting and performance technique becomes the focus ahead of stage shows.

For those interested in singing and dancing, 'Show Stoppers' and  'Perform' teach children musical theatre in a supportive, fun environment to encourage team work and confidence.

Finally the 'Glee Club' and 'Factory Theatre Ensemble' (FaTE) provide a platform in Dubai for like-minded and creative people to come together to produce amazing community theatre. 

Welcoming new teaching talent to the Kids Theatre Works! team, multi-talented Dana DellaMonica from the USA brings a wealth of teaching and performance experience to Kids' Theatre Works! Having recently received her Master's Graduate in Theatre Education, Dana has performed on Broadway and been nominated for an ‘Outstanding Leading Actress' award.

LAMDA qualified Katie Hind also joins the Kids' Theatre Works! team this season bringing with her a wealth of colourful drama and teaching experience. A talented producer and performer, previously Katie was instrumental in developing courses specifically suited for children with Autism and ASD.

Also joining Kids' Theatre Works! this season, Leah Abella has worked professionally in Theatre, TV and Radio. As an Acting Tutor, Leah has over 6 years of experience directing stage performances and working with young actors.  

Kids' Theatre Works! absolutely believes that Drama can transform lives and prepare your kids to become successful creative thinkers of the future and with new locations being added to existing venues across Dubai, this season Kids' Theatre Works! courses are more obtainable than ever before.

Now available at Favourite Things Dubai Marina Mall, Motor City Exhale Studio, Uptown Mirdiff Primary School, Jumeriah Primary School, Wellington Silicon Oasis, Sharjah English School, American School of Dubai, GEMS World Academy and DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates.

Also starting in Abu Dhabi at Brighton College on Saturday October 5th and at Gems American Academy on Thursday 3rd October for children aged 3 - teens.
