Dubai Health Authority to host several visiting doctors this month

The aim of the on-going program is to provide specialized health services to the people of Dubai

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, September 9, 2013:  In line with its policy to continue providing specialised medical care to the population of Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority ( DHA) will host several visiting doctors who are currently practicing medicine in countries such as United Kingdom and Germany.

Hamad Matar Al Falasi, Director of the Overseas Treatment Office at the DHA said that the doctors will provide consultation to patients in DHA Hospitals and are specialised in fields such as gynaecology and neurosurgery.

Professor Dietmar Simon, consultant endocrine surgeon from the Dusseldorf University in Germany will be at Dubai Hospital from the 22nd to the 26th of September.

Dr Majid Al Fayyadh, consultant paediatric cardiologist from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be at Dubai Hospital on the 26th of September.

Professor Franz Schefer, Consultant paediatric nephrologist from Heidelberg Children's Hospital in Germany will be at Dubai Hospital from the 29th of September to the 1st of October.

Dr Dominique Gazielly, head of shoulder surgery department, University of Geneva, will be Dubai hospital from the 29th of September to the 3rd of October.
