Boeing International Corporation signs WOMEN ACHIEVE, an Initiative to Support the Advancement of Women

Abu Dhabi, UAE -- The AmCham Abu Dhabi Women in Business Committee is proud to announce that Boeing International Corporation is the latest signatory of WOMEN ACHIEVE, an innovative program that promotes the professional advancement of women. WOMEN ACHIEVE was developed by AmCham Abu Dhabi's Women in Business Committee to encourage companies and organizations to offer women more opportunities to advance to positions of greater responsibility and leadership.

As a supporter of the WOMEN ACHIEVE program, Boeing has pledged to ensure that it provides an environment where women can further develop their leadership skills and excel in their respective areas of expertise at Boeing by ensuring that the company's inclusive organizational culture remains true in the Middle East.

Established in January 2013, WOMEN ACHIEVE focuses on seven key ideals that companies undertake to guide them towards developing a work environment that is conducive for the professional growth of women. The ideals include encouraging women to grow through training, shadowing, coaching, mentorship and internship programs, to consider female candidates for new opportunities and support ‘rising stars' into leadership positions. WOMEN ACHIEVE also encourages the induction of women to serve on boards of different organizations and promotes the importance of fair remuneration for female employees.

Participation in WOMEN ACHIEVE is open to entities of all sizes. Companies that are interested can elect to become signatories by contacting AmCham Abu Dhabi. WOMEN ACHIEVE signatories receive a certificate of acknowledgement from AmCham Abu Dhabi and are eligible to use the WOMEN ACHIEVE seal on their communication collateral.
