Biggles British pub at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai to host live tribute to legendary British rock icon
Marcus Andrew, one of the leading Elton John tribute artists, will be performing some of Elton John's greatest hits live at the Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai on Thursday 26th September 2013.
The performance will take place in the award-winning Biggles British Pub, which is a perfect venue for live entertainment. Marcus will be belting out Elton classics such as, ‘I'm still standing', Daniel, Candle in the wind, Pinball wizard, Bennie & the jets and many more.
“Marcus will perform a number of Elton's greatest hit songs and quite apart from his strikingly similar appearance, he will emulate Elton's unique-style of showmanship,” said Alan Grimes, Manager, Biggles British Pub.
UK-based Marcus Andrew, who hails from the West Midlands area, has been performing as Elton John for over a decade and reached the final stages of the national talent show “Stars In Their Eyes” in 2002.
Marcus has played many prestigious venues including Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, the Radisson Edwardian Hotel London and at Gordon Ramsay's premier restaurant “Claridges” in Mayfair London. Markus has also performed at top venues in Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, China and Norway.
This is the first in a series of tribute acts to come this year to Biggles British Pub. Thursday 31st October will be the “Freddie Mercury featuring Queen” tribute act, followed by The Blues Brothers on the 28th of November.
