Summer of games continues as Dubai Sports World is extended until August 28th

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The summer of games is set to go on as Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has extended Dubai Sports World (DSW) until August 28th, giving sports enthusiasts a week more to enjoy the facilities of the largest indoor sporting event in the region.
The event has seen an unprecedented number of enthusiasts and has been a major attraction for athletes of all skill levels during the hot summer months. From football to basketball, rugby, squash, and tennis, among many others, DSW has proved to be a hit with residents once again. Commenting on the extension, Ahmed Alkhaja, Senior Vice President – Venues, Dubai World Trade Centre said, “The feedback we have received for Dubai Sports World has been tremendous. We have welcomed an influx of athletes and visitors from all over the region seeking to stay active during the summer. DSW taps into a much-appreciated competitive spirit that is as infectious as it is prevalent; we encourage families and friends to come down and make the most out of this extended time period.”
The last two weeks of DSW will see several competitions and events take place including; the Urban Sprint Challenge by Original Fitness Company, the ever-popular Ping Pong championships, Skateboarding and BMX competitions, and the Summer Series fastest Wins at the Bike Pump Track by Adventure HQ.
