DVK Presents: Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan at Sell-Out Event to Mark 100 Years of Bollywood at The O2 Arena UK

DVK are proud to present superstar and icon, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali as he commences his 2013 UK tour with a sensational live concert on Bank Holiday Sunday, 25th August at the O2 Arena in London.

‘The Voice from Heaven' concert promises to descend on stage with an electrifying performance by the musical genius and will celebrate the anniversary of 100 years of Bollywood. Rahat, nephew of the legendary late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, is one of the very few artists from the East with the star power to sell out the entire O2 arena. With a sell-out show of 20,000 tickets, the concert at the O2 arena will set a new record and re-create history with a truly unforgettable show

Rahat was mentored under his uncle since birth and is now the King of Qawwali and Sufi music and the most sought after playback singer in Bollywood. His glorious voice lends itself to hit songs which rise to number one on each occasion and his hit ‘Teri Meri' to date has had the highest number of hits on YouTube and outstripped any other Bollywood song on this search portal.

Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali has captured the hearts of millions worldwide and continues to mesmerise audiences with his melodious voice and Sufi music. The maestro has been honoured with the Award for Best Music Talent in a Film at the 14th London Music Festival in 2012, the Award for Best Male Playback Singer at the 2011 Filmfare Awards and the Award for Best Singer Male at the Pakistan Media Awards in 2011.

This celebration is presented by the DVK Global Entertainment Investments Fund, which is financing projects which include the likes of Al Pacino and Jessica Biel to name a few.
