Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) received a delegation from the Khalifa Award for Education headed by Ms Amal Al-Afifi, the Secretary General of the award, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Mohammad Salem Al-Dhaheri, ADEC's Executive Director of School Operations, Ms Suad Al-Suwaidi, Dr. Khaled Al-Ibri, award executive committee member, Ms Salama Al-Amimi, Director of Organizational Development and Excellence Office. Dr. Al-Khaili quoted “Such awards are considered a major cornerstone for developing the education in UAE,”. He also said “the award helps promote creativity in all areas of education, enriching the education sector and fulfilling strategic goals set out by Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030”. ADEC has announced that it is now certified as ISO 9001:2008 standard for Quality management System (QMS). The certification is awarded by TUV NORD GROUP.
