Held every year, the Miss Switzerland event is staged in a major Swiss city and heavily promoted by a variety of means, attracting strong public attention and sympathy.

Selected from a number of attractive and talented candidates, the young winner of the Miss Switzerland contest was presented with a Balmain wristwatch during an evening television show. Furthermore, she will now grace the next consumer catalogue and will appear on all promotional material.

This year's Miss Switzerland is 24-year-old Dominique Rinderknecht, a true sports aficionado whose good looks, bright personality and even brighter smile made her the winner of the competition. Dominique was elected Miss Switzerland 2013 at the Hallenstadion in Zurich on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
